Nathaniel Vicente is an experienced psychologist with a rich background providing a wide range of assessment and therapy services to children, adults, and their families. He is a member of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec and is pleased to offer professional services in both English and Filipino. Over the years his professional roles have included providing a full range of services in various clinical and educational settings. He practiced as a clinical psychologist providing assessment and intervention services within a multidisciplinary service delivery model in a specialized service center for children ages 4 to 17 with neurodevelopmental concerns including learning challenges, intellectual disabilities, and autism. Here he used his specialized skills to aid in achieving various goals including early intervention, mainstreaming, early transition, or life-skills introduction. He also practiced for many years as a school psychologist serving both elementary and high school students providing assessment services as well as consultation to the school team.

Over the past decade, Mr. Vicente has garnered a reputation for being a client-centred professional whose calm manner and use of best practices are highly appreciated. He is an integral part of the Ultra Health Services team, providing assessments and therapeutic services for children and young adults with a variety of special needs including those with learning, social, behavioural, and emotional challenges. Currently, he provides in-depth assessments to identify Developmental Delays/Intellectual Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disabilities, ADHD, and Emotional/Behavioural Disorders to provide recommendations to optimize academic success and emotional and social well-being. He also provides psychotherapeutic services to children and adults experiencing a wide array of mental health conditions and life challenges, focusing on enhancing their emotional well-being and overall mental health. He believes in empowering his clients in a respectful and accepting manner where the therapy is viewed as a collaborative process to aid the clients in reaching their goals.
