Ioana Constantinescu (she/her) has a Master’s and a Doctorate degree in Psychology from Concordia University. She started working with children diagnosed with a learning disability over 20 years ago at the Taylor Adolescent Program and continued as a team leader and program coordinator in several high schools, for the next 10 years. She worked for several years as Director of Student Success/Student Services in two private high schools in Montreal. Since 2013, she has been working as an Adapted Services Counsellor at Marianopolis College.

Ioana has extensive experience working one-on-one with students diagnosed with a learning disability (and their families), to develop and implement Intervention Plans and appropriate accommodations. She also helps them find the appropriate strategies to stay focused and ensure the completion of all their work on time. She helps them understand their strengths and weaknesses so that they can achieve their academic potential.

She is delighted to be part of the team at Ultra Health Services to provide assessment and therapy services under the supervision of Dr Benarroch as a clinical psychology intern by way of equivalence. Ioana believes in a client-based approach, focused on helping the client learn how to use their strengths to overcome their weaknesses. As a parenting coach, she can help you and your family understand your child’s needs and how to use their strengths to overcome their weaknesses. She can help your family implement the strategies suggested in the assessment and the accommodations needed in school.
