Naomi is bilingual speaking Master’s Candidate, completing her last year at Université de Montréal (maîtrise professionnelle en orthophonie, M.P.O). With more than 5 years of experience, she has worked with young children experiencing pronunciation difficulties, school-age children with developmental language disorders, and as a therapist in applied behaviour analysis (ABA therapy) focusing on communication difficulties related to Autism Spectrum Disorders as well as other developmental and intellectual disorders.
Naomi is passionate about empowering individuals, especially young children, as they improve their communication skills, reach their full potential, and overcome their challenges. She is also excited about getting the opportunity to give her clients access to tools in different modalities according to their communicative needs and working in a multidisciplinary team.
Her primary interests include all aspects of communication challenges such as articulation difficulties, stuttering/fluency, speech sound disorders, voice and resonance, childhood apraxia of speech, augmentative and alternative communication, as well as paediatric dysphagia. Upon graduation, she will become a licensed member in good standing with the Ordre des Orthophonistes et des Audiologistes du Québec (OOAQ).
